Meghan Markle is keeping calm and minding her own business.
The Duchess of Sussex was clicked wearing an anti-stress patch on her wrist as she spent some time alone without her husband, Prince Harry by her side.
The former actress, 42, went completely make-up-free during a stroll in Montecito, California while Harry, 38, is on a work trip in Asia.
Markle accessorized her camel-colored $1,625 Max Mara Rispoli coat and blue-and-tan printed $1,225 cashmere Hermes Rayures D’Ete shawl with a dark blue NuCalm biosignal processing disc.
According to the product’s website, the calming device “activates the parasympathetic nervous system” so that its user can have a “rapid return to a functional state (motor skills, attention, and full cognition) with no lingering effects or mental lethargy.”
After seeing her with the patch, fans started to think that she has been going through a high-stress time.
An insider claimed that “NuCalm is incredible and has nothing necessarily to do with stress.”
Meghan, however, is juggling her work and two kids while her husband is over the other side of the ocean.
The couple are parents to a 4-year-old son, Prince Archie, and a 2-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet.
Meghan and Harry’s career breakdown
Recently, there have been issues about the Sussexes going through marital troubles. However, a source said in June that the rumors are false and the stories of their split are made up.
The couple has also had some issues with their career after their infamous split with Spotify in June following a $20 million deal with the streaming giant.
An insider claimed that the reason for their deal split was because the two didn’t produce enough content to receive the full multimillion-dollar payout.
Despite all that, the Sussexes and the company released a joint statement at the time claiming that they ended their partnership mutually.
Just a day after the news came out about the deal termination, Spotify’s head of global sports strategy, Bill Simmons called the couple lazy and f-king grifters.
During an episode of The Bill Simmons Podcast at the time, he said, I wish I had been involved in the ‘Megan and Harry leave Spotify’ negotiation,”
Meghan Markle speaks about her mental health
Just shortly after that, the former Deal or No Deal model appeared somber during an outing. Meghan Markle has always been very vocal about her struggles with mental health.
During her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, Markle revealed she had suicidal thoughts while working as a senior member of the Royal Family.
She said at the time,
“I just didn’t want to be alive anymore,”
“I would sit up at night, and I was just like, ‘I don’t understand how all of this is being churned out.’”
She again opened up about her mental health at a gala in New York City in December 2022.
The Duchess told the crowd of the Ripple of Hope Awards, “We all need to, when we can if we feel brave enough, just speak honestly about your own experience,”
She added,
“It gives other people space and the courage to do the same, but more than that to really feel like you’re not alone, because I think that is often what can be the largest hindrance when you feel that way, you don’t see a way out.”
