American singer, Miley Cyrus was not on talking terms with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus after he started dating and married Australian singer, Firerose. But now, Firerose is out of the life of Billy since he has filed for divorce. Will Miley be ready to reconcile with her dad and forget the past?

Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus: the family fight

Billy Ray Cyrus was married to Tish Cyrus and has five kids with her. The kids are Miley Cyrus, Brandi Cyrus, Trace Cyrus, Braison Cyrus, and Noah Cyrus. After 29 years of marriage, Billy and Tish split in 2022.

Tish moved on and married Dominic Purcell. He was the ex-boyfriend of her daughter, Noah Cyrus. There was some family drama there as well.

An inside source has revealed that the country singer is ready to patch up with his daughter, Miley. This is possible since Firerose is now out of the picture. The source added that the father is willing to bear and hear Miley’s ‘I told you so!’ comments about his failed relationship with Firerose.

In fact, last month, the father had posted on his social media a throwback photo of him with Miley. He captioned it:

“I’m incredibly proud of her. She’s a survivor and a true artist. She learned early on to love and appreciate the fans who make everything possible.”

But will Miley oblige? The source stated:

“With Firerose out of the picture, she’s willing to at least try to repair the damage and once again have a loving relationship with him.”

Billy’s divorce is getting messier

It was in May 2024 that Billy filed for divorce from his wife of seven months, Firerose. Later, the two unfollowed each other on their respective social media accounts.

Later, Billy claimed that Firerose has made fraudulent purchases using his credit card after they separated. He said that she had gone out and spent more that USD 90k at 37 outlets. Additionally, she used his business account to pay for her lawyer fees that ran into USD 70k. Hence, Billy asked for a restraining order against his ex-wife.

And the very next day, Firerose sued Billy for domestic violence and abuse. She said that when she underwent a surgery earlier this year, she was under severe emotional and psychological stress. It is reported that Firerose is also in the mood of revenge and will not hesitate to spill the beans about Billy and his family.
