It was a surprise for the Canadian model, Winnie Harlow, 30. But she said yes even before her boyfriend, NBA player, Kyle Kuzma, 29 showed her the engagement ring.

The couple, model Winnie Harlow, 30 and her boyfriend, NBA player, Kyle Kuzma, 29 are engaged. The pair made the happy announcement on their Instagram. They posted a photo on it that also showed the gorgeous 8.5 carat engagement ring. In the picture, the couple was kissing each other as Winnie showed her ring to the camera.

Kyle proposed to Winnie on 13th February 2025 during their lavish holiday to Turks and Caicos. Winnie was taken unaware. She said:

“I was just like, ‘This is so cute for Valentine’s Day, oh my gosh!’”

Vogue magazine reports that the two reached the British overseas island on a private plane that was decorated with roses, balloons and had chocolate and champagne. Kyle read out a sweet poem for Winnie. He ended it asking:

“Will you be my wife?”

Though surprised, Winnie immediately said yes.

Winnie and Kyle had started their relationship in 2020. This was during the COVID pandemic. The lockdown gave them a chance to spend a lot of time together and to know each other well. They used to communicate via FaceTime at that time.

Later, Winnie left New York and shifted to Los Angeles to be near Kyle where he was placed.

In 2022, the couple took a vacation in Turks and Caicos. It was a wonderful vacation with sunset and stars. Kyle had decided at that time that he would propose to Winnie at that place and he did it three years later.

Kyle had taken the pains to design the engagement ring himself. The engagement ring has an oval cut diamond in the center with two baguette stones on either side of it.

After the surprise engagement, Winnie got another surprise from Kyle when he invited his and her family to the holiday villa. They had fireworks and a surf-and-turf dinner along with lots of wine. This was on the lovely sandy beaches of the Islands.
