Double celebration! Neil Jones is engaged and expecting his first child with Chyna Mills

Neil Jones, 40 is off the market! The Strictly Come Dancing star announced he is engaged to his girlfriend Chyna Mills and also expecting their first child together.

The couple exclusively shared the exciting news with HELLO! magazine on Sunday, April 2. Chyna, who is 13 weeks pregnant, revealed,

“After the baby news, we were on cloud nine – and now this. It still doesn’t feel real.”

The unborn baby’s due date is in this autumn. Jones told the outlet that he had been planning to propose before he knew they were having a baby together.

In their recent trip to Bali, he made a surprise proposal to the Love Island star, 24, after seven months of dating. He said,

“I’d already planned to ask Chyna to marry me before we knew she was pregnant. Then we found out and I was like, “Oh, this is brilliant, everything is coming together””

Chyna then went on to acknowledge that she wasn’t believing Jones popping the question to her. She explained,

“At first, I thought he was joking because we play jokes on each other all the time. Then Neil was like: ‘Chyna, so is it a “yes” or “no”?’ because a few minutes had passed and he was still on one knee. I was like: ‘Yeah!'”

When Neil and Chyna asked about their planning for marriage, the pair simply responded to wait until a very special guest can accompany them up the aisle.

The soon-to-be father said,

“We thought it would be cute if the baby can be walking around at the wedding,”

Neil said Tyler West was among the first to know when they shared their happy news with their loved ones.

“We FaceTimed him, then said: ‘We just sent you something on WhatsApp’ – it was a picture of the baby scan. He looked and said: ‘I’m going to cry, this is everything… I’m gonna be that crazy Jamaican uncle.’ It was the best reaction,”

How long have Neil Jones and Chyna Mills been together?

Chyna falls in love at first sight with Neil when she caught his eye while she was on ITV2’s Love Island last summer. However, Neil was the first to reach out to Chyna after her exit from the show in July.

The pair then met in real life and instantly connected. In August, the newly engaged couple made their relationship public during their romantic trip to Paris.

The pair since spotted together at several red carpet events and often featured each other on their respective Instagram posts.

Neil was previously married to his Strictly professional co-star Katy Jones. The former couple married for six years before calling it quits in August 2019.
