Nick Carter is heartbroken over his younger brother Aaron Carter‘s demise. The Backstreet Boys singer posted an emotional tribute in remembrance of his brother who died tragically on Saturday.
He posted a slideshow of photos of the two brothers over the years and wrote a lengthy caption. It read:
”My heart has been broken today. Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded,”
The I Want It That Way hitmaker also blamed addiction and drug addiction and said:
“I have always held onto the hope, that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed. Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss. But the truth is that addiction and mental illness is the real villain here.”
The 42-year-old singer continued:
”I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you Chizz., now you get a chance to finally have some peace you could never find here on earth….God,Please take care of my baby brother.”
Also, Nick cried during a touching tribute for his baby brother at a Backstreet Boys concert.
The boys played No Place during their show in London and the whole show felt emotional as the brothers’ photos played onscreen.

Aaron’s twin sister Angel also paid her homage to her brother
Nick looked visibly shaken as he tried to hold back his tears. His bandmates A.J McLean, Brian Littrell, and Howie Dorough hugged him to show their support.
Kevin Richardson, on the other hand, spoke to the crowd.
He said:
“Tonight we’ve got heavy hearts because we lost one of our family members yesterday, and we just wanted to find a moment in our show to recognize him,”
“Nick’s little brother, Aaron Carter passed away yesterday.”
The 51-year-old concluded:
“He’s a part of our family,”
Aaron’s twin sister Angel Carter also posted on social media calling her brother funny and sweet.
The House of Carters star showed her love for her brother by writing:
“I have so many memories of you and I, and I promise to cherish them. I know you’re at peace now. I will carry you with me until the day I die and get to see you again.”
Aaron was found dead in his California home on Saturday. He has an 11-months-old son named Prince whom he shared with his on/off Melanie Martin.
