In her statement, she admitted that she had had an extramarital affair with William Flynn but was never been involved in the conspiracy. She further added that the murder was a response when she tried to mend the relationship with her husband ending their relationship.

However, she was found guilty of first-degree murder, witness tampering, and conspiracy to commit murder. Based on it, she was sentenced to life in prison without any sort of parole.

Imprisonment

After the hearing, she went to New Hampshire State Prison for Women in Goffstown. Later in 1993, officers transfer her to Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women in Westchester County. However, the reasons for the transfer are unspecified.

During their imprisonment, she along with her fellow prisoners filed a case against her correction officer for sexual harassment and sexual assault. On the 25th of November 2009, the District Court passed the judgment of $23,875. At the time, she received $8,750 deducting the lawyer fees.
