American actress, Patricia Arquette, 56 talked about her relationship status on the recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Patricia Arquette talks about her relationship status

Patricia Arquette, 56 was in relationship with American visual artist, Eric White, 56 for nine years. The two have split but neither of them officially announced about their separation. Hence, people believe that the two are still dating.

However, on The Kelly Clarkson Show of 21st January 2025, Patricia revealed her singlehood. She told the host:

“Part of the problem for me is like, Wikipedia. On there, I still have the same boyfriend I had a couple of years ago. And, I’ve been single for two years!”

Since Wikipedia page on Patricia still mentions that she is in a relationship with Eric, her fans and viewers are unaware that she has split from Eric and is single now.

To help Patricia, Kelly turned to the cameras and said:

“So we’re gonna get the word out now. She’s single and mingling!”

Is Patricia looking for new love?

The gorgeous actress revealed that she is using dating apps to find a new match for herself. Kelly queried:

“How is it on the apps? Cause I’m single and I’m afraid.”

Patricia admitted to feeling scared on the online dating. However, she added that the dating app that she is on has the ability to screen people. Further, she also said that she is going very slowly. It may be even six months before she meets the online person face to face for a coffee.

Talking about her method on the app, Patricia elaborated:

“I go very, very, slowly. I also do check up with people that know that person. And I go very slowly.”

At her age of 20, Patricia was dating musician Paul Rossi. Their son, Enzo Rossi was born on 3rd January 1989. Later, in April 1995, she wed American actor, Nicholas Cage, 61. The two parted ways after nine months and divorced in February 2000.

In 2002, she got engaged to American actor, Thomas Jane, 55. Their daughter, Harlow Olivia Calliope Jane arrived on 20th February 2003. On 25th June 2006, the couple exchanged wedding vows in the water city of Venice in Italy.

In 2009, the two separated. Later, they reconciled briefly but divorced in 2010.

Patricia’s bad dating experience

In 2021, Patricia was participating in a popular prompt on Twitter. When asked:

“What’s the most awkward date y’all ever been on?”,

Patricia had replied about her second date with a professional skateboarder who was really good-looking but who was also a bad kisser. Other users guessed that she was talking about Mark ‘Gator’ Rogowski.

Patricia had also revealed that Mark was a friend of her friend. But in 1991, he had raped and murdered his girlfriend, Jessica Bergsten who was only 22 years of age at the time of her murder.

Patricia did not feel that Mark was a right person when she met him years before. Hence, she gave him a false phone number and was thus saved. In a follow up tweet, Patricia added:

“Moral to the story — Trust your instincts.”
“And my daughter thinks I’m overprotective.”
