The Brazilian football star Pele died at the age of 82, following a battle with cancer. He passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, after being admitted to the hospital last month and given palliative care after a colon cancer diagnosis.
Pele in his last days was surrounded by his loved ones and even spent their Christmas Day in the hospital together. His demise comes shortly as his daughter Kely Nascimento on Instagram announces the death of her daddy,
“Everything we are is thanks to you. We love you infinitely. Rest in peace.”
Pele’s official Twitter and Instagram accounts also confirmed the sad news of the death of the legend on Thursday, with a statement,

French footballer Kylian Mbappe who is trending for the hat trick in the FIFA World Cup Finale 2022 in Lusail Stadium of Qatar wrote a death tribute.

Cristiano Ronaldo, on his Instagram with 523 M followers honored the late Brazilian footballer Pele, saying the memory of his legacy will remain untouched.
