Peta Wilson is an Australian Actress, model, and lingerie designer. She is popularly known for playing the role of Nikita in the television series La Femme Nikita. She is also known for the 2003 movie The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Talking about her parents, she was born to Darcy Wilson (father) and Karlene White Wilson (mother). As per siblings, she has a brother named Rob Wilson.

Later, she thought of continuing her studies at an acting school in New York City in 1996. However, she decided to give an audition first for a new television show which was produced for the USA cable TV channel in North America.

More than 200 actresses gave an audition for the lead role. Fortunately, Wilson got selected. The show was based on the French action thriller La Femme Nikita.

Furthermore, she played the role of Corporal Jennifer Vaghn in One of Our Own in 1997. She also portrayed the role of Vickie Kittri in Mercy in 2000.

In 2001, Peta attended the  Moscow International Film Festival, where she got to opportunity to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin, who confessed to being a fan of hers.

In 2006 she made her appearance on an Australian TV mystery anthology drama Two Twisted. She also played a small role in the movie Superman Returns as the character Bobbie-Faye, a NASA spokeswoman.

Moreover, she inaugurated a lingerie label, Wylie Wilson, with a flagship store in Los Angeles in 2012. She also won the Best Actress Award at the Cinerockom International Film Festival in 2013 for playing the role of CIA agent Marla Criswell in the short film Liberator.
