“I just watched this first episode of Gen V and it was good. Well, except for that line. It was cringe. But hey, PewDiePie’s mission right now is being a good father to his kid. God bless him for that,”

Another fan commented:

I know the line has already been mocked to death but that Gen V Pewdiepie line was so f**king corny and bad that I cannot escape the emotional torment it sits under.”

And another wrote:

“Yeah sounds like bad writing lol.”

Another comment read:

Whenever the writers for The Boys universe try to reference internet culture it shows me they’re all 40-year-old men who think we’re still in 2016.”

And one more fan wrote:

“What do they have against the guy. He’s done nothing for years.”

PewDiePie’s hiatus in Japan

The social media personality is enjoying his fatherhood. Their son Bjorn was born in July 2023. His priorities have shifted to his family and child and he has semi-retired from YouTube.

PewDiePie shows his son in his videos. He justified this act stating that Bjorn is such an integral part of their lives. He vlogged in September 2023:

We weren’t sure how much of Bjorn we would show, but he’s such a big part of our lives that it sort of happens,”

“And he’s so cute that I can’t help but wanting to show him.”
