Poppy Delevingne is soon to be a mom!

Pregnancy alert! Poppy Delevingne has announced that she is expecting her first child with her partner, billionaire Archie Keswick.

The announcement was made during an interview with Elle UK on Friday, January 17, 2025.

In the interview, Delevingne expressed her excitement about becoming a mother, stating that it is “all I’ve ever wanted” and that she is expecting a baby girl.

She said,

“Obviously, I would have been fine with either and when I was younger I always thought when I get pregnant, I wouldn’t find out, but the second we got told we could find out, we did. I’m so excited. I come from all girls, we’re very girl heavy. Girls are great.”

The 38-year-old model shared that she decided to announce her pregnancy because she is nearly six months along, and she can no longer hide her baby bump at work events.

Similarly, Poppy revealed that she first suspected she was pregnant when her clothes felt tighter during a fitting for a Burberry show at London Fashion Week.

She then took a pregnancy test, which confirmed her suspicions.

However, the couple decided to keep the pregnancy private until Delevingne was almost four months along.

She described the experience of sharing the news as emotional for her and her loved ones, especially because she had always dreamed of becoming a mother.

In an interview with Elle UK, she expressed her feelings, saying,

“It just feels like such an extraordinary privilege to be able to do this, to be able to have a baby at this age and at this time, and when it happened, I couldn’t really believe it. It still feels really surreal,”

Delevingne also shared that her sisters, Chloe and Cara Delevingne, were very happy about the news, and the family celebrated together during Christmas.

She described her sisters as “elated” and mentioned that all the important women in her life are ready to support her throughout her pregnancy.

Although Delevingne initially felt nervous about having a child in her late thirties, she has become excited as her due date is in May.

Delevingne’s partner, Archie Keswick, has two children from a previous marriage and has been supportive throughout her pregnancy.

She noted that he was “born to be a dad” and praised the support she has received from friends and family during this journey.

Keswick has a private fortune estimated at £6.35 billion. Additionally, the Keswick family owns an extensive 18,000-acre estate in Angus.

Archie has been involved in high-profile relationships, including a brief romance with actress Sienna Miller in 2021.

Poppy, on the other hand, was previously married to James Cook for eight years before their separation in 2022.

In a past interview on the “Origins with Cush Jumbo” podcast, she expressed that the stigma surrounding divorce led her to remain in her marriage longer than she should have.

“I’m quite sad, actually, that we should feel that there’s such a thing about it, that, god she’s divorced, damaged goods, no one’s going to want you,”

She added,

“Especially women in their late thirties who haven’t had a baby … It’s not easy to make that kind of a decision. It’s not by any stretch, And I think within that, you have to have courage. You’ve got to love yourself, put yourself first, and you’ve got to be happy. We have one shot at life. Oh my god, I chose happiness. I chose me.”
