Pregnant Jamie Otis has tested negative for Covid-19 and is ready for homebirth!

Good news for Married at First Sight alum Jamie Otis.
She has tested negative for coronavirus.
She took the COVID-19 test due to the recommendation of her doctor.

Jamie shared her test result on Instagram and featured a photo of her bare baby bump.

“Almost fully loaded???????? AND MY CORONA VIRUS TEST RESULTS ARE BACK!???? I’m COVID-19 NEGATIVE!???????? AHH, such a RELIEF!”

She added,

“Thanks again for all your love and support!????????????⁣”

In the picture, she wore the same two-piece swimsuit when she was pregnant with her daughter, as well as a side-by-side comparison between the two pictures.

She wrote,

“I SWEAR I am way bigger this time, but I don’t know if you can see in these pics?⁣”

Likewise, she added,

“Even with all the discomfort (Hemerrhroids are huge????, back & hips are in constant pain????, can’t sleep????, pee all the time….????) I’m still not “ready” for him to come! I never felt ‘ready’ for Gracie either ????????‍♀️ Does anyone ever feel *READY* for their baby to come?!!????????????.”

Otis did not want to have a home birth as planned until her results came back negative. She decided to have a home birth as she is a labor and delivery nurse.

Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner married life

Jamie and Doug Hehner were the part of reality show Married at First Sight. On the show, they got married on the first day that they met. Jamie and Dough had some dramatic turn of events after their wedding day.

As per sources, Jamie was not attracted to Doug when they first met. Likewise, she constantly apologized to the altar because she couldn’t hold back her tears. But things worked out eventually.

Their wedding was held on 23rd March 2014. Dough revealed,

“I couldn’t have been happier, seeing someone that was just absolutely gorgeous,”

Jamie was sure that their marriage would not work out. Their marriage succeeded as they had relationship experts on speed dial throughout the process and afterward.

Children

After three years of marriage, Jamie gave birth to a daughter. Their daughter Henley Grace was born in August 2017. Previously, she had two miscarriages before conceiving her second baby.

Again after having a miscarriage, they announced that they were expecting a second child in September 2019. At that time she was 4 weeks pregnant.

At present, she is 37 weeks pregnant and ready to give birth soon. She thanked all her well-wishers and people who supported her during her hard time of miscarriage.

Update 2022: In May 2020, the couple welcomed their second child a son named Hendrix.
