Princess Catherine and her family is gearing up for the historic coronation moment of King Charles III‘s coronation tomorrow.
The future Queen and her husband Prince William visited Dog & Duck Pub in Soho to witness how the town is preparing for the big event, on Thursday.
The couple chatted with the exciting crowds after their time inside and one fan who was present there said that Catherine said she was nervous ahead of the historic event while her kids were all excited.
The fan named Mandy Leifheit said,
“I asked if the kids were excited about the coronation, and she said, ‘They’re very excited. They had their rehearsal yesterday so they knew what they’d expect,’ “
“She said she’s more nervous than the kids are since it’s such a big event for the kids to be part of. She said Louis will be there and that he’ll remember it.”
Leifheit, 48, an American, planned a trip to the US for the coronation ceremony and was lucky enough to take a selfie with the princess of Wales outside.
The advertising sales professional said,
“It was a dream. She’s amazing. She’s so real and so natural — and this would be overwhelming but it’s not and she’s here,”
She revealed that she told Catherine that she was from Seattle. The royal responded,
“People have come a long way.”
“She was so gracious. The fact they’re in London doing a walkabout is a dream come true,”
“I love that they came to a pub. It’s real. This is where everyone’s going to be afterward so it’s perfect.”

Catherine’s bright coat reminded fans of the late Queen
The coronation ceremony is a big deal for the whole family, especially Wales including Prince William and Prince George, 9. The father-son duo is next in line to the throne.
Both William and George will participate in the church service at the abbey. William, 40, will pay homage to the King while George will serve as a Page of Honor to his grandfather.
William and Catherine also brought Charlotte, 8, and Louis, 5, to rehearse at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday as the event nears.
During the coronation week outing on Thursday, the princess wore a bright red coat by Eponine London which she wore at Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee weekend the past year.
Fans thought that Catherine’s bright attire made them think of the late monarch who would often wear bright hues to be easily seen in a crowd.
One said,
“I saw her walk up in the red coat, and I thought it’s kind of like the [late] Queen in bright colors so people can spot her — and I almost teared up,”
