Princess Catherine flies to Norfolk with her family after announcing cancer diagnosis
Princess Catherine is having a family time amid her cancer battle.
The Princess of Wales along with her husband, Prince William, and their three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis have escaped to their holiday home amid her health scare.
The Wales family flew from Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to Anmer Hall in Norfolk on Saturday, Entertainment Tonight reported.
The outlet also claimed that the young family will spend the kids’ Easter school break at the Sandringham Estate property. It came after it was confirmed that they would skip this year’s church services at St. George’s Chapel.
At Norfolk, the princess and her family will have their own little Easter celebrations as she continues to get her treatment.
Last Friday, Catherine shocked fans by revealing that she had been diagnosed with cancer after undergoing abdominal surgery in January.
The royal said in a video shared on Instagram,
“My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,”
The 41-year-old said that William, 41, has been a great support throughout the tough times and that they decided to wait to announce the news until their three kids fully understood what was going on.
Unfortunately, the hospital where the Princess underwent surgery experienced a security breach in which numerous staffers attempted to access her medical files and she revealed her diagnosis.
A royal expert said at the time,
“They probably felt the pressure to announce,”
“It was too much to bear in the end; they had to say something.”

How is the royal family supporting Catherine after the news?
While the princess stayed out of the spotlight to focus on her recovery, conspiracy theories about her whereabouts and health spurred despite her reps confirming that she would be back to work after Easter.
Things took a nasty turn when Catherine posted a heavily edited photo of herself with her kids on Mother’s Day.
After immense backlash, she issued an apology for the mishap.
Kate’s cancer news comes shortly after her father-in-law, King Charles III announced his cancer diagnosis on February 5.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson announced that the monarch, 75, is “so proud of Catherine for her courage in speaking as she did.”
The reps said that Charles has “remained in the closet contact with his beloved daughter-in-law” and will continue to offer “love and support,”
Catherine’s parents and siblings have also been a great source of comfort for her in the tough times.
Most recently, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, showed her support for Catherine on social media. Fergie, who herself is battling skin cancer wrote,
“All my thoughts and prayers are with the Princess of Wales as she starts her treatment,”
“I know she will be surrounded by the love of her family and everyone is praying for the best outcome.”
The mom of two added,
”As someone who has faced their own battles with cancer in recent months, I am full of admiration for the way she has spoken publicly about her diagnosis and know it will do a tremendous amount of good to raise awareness.”
She also requested everyone to give Catherine “time, space, and privacy to heal.”
