Princess Charlotte turns 8

Prince William and Princess Catherine celebrated their daughter Princess Charlotte‘s 8th birthday with an adorable new photo of her smile with missing teeth.

The photo showed the princess lounging in a hammock showing her gap-toothed grin. The young royal wore a floral dress with her tresses down.

The proud parents of three gushed,

“Wishing Princess Charlotte a very happy birthday! 8 tomorrow ”

The rare photo is the royal annual tradition as William, 40, and Catherine, 41, have shared their children’s new pictures to celebrate their birthdays.

For her 7th birthday in 2022, the third in line to the throne was all smiles with a dog while smiling in a blue sweater.

Previous posts showed the princess rocking a floral dress, volunteering for the elderly, and playing with toys.

Charlotte, Wales’s only daughter was born in May 2015, two years after her big brother, Prince George was born.

King Charles III revealed at the time that he was “really hoping for a girl.”

The then-Prince of Wales explained, “She is beautiful. I was hoping for a granddaughter — someone to look after me when I am very old.”

The royal also noted that having a baby girl created a very different dynamic for the Royal and Middleton family. Two years after Charlotte’s birth, the couple welcomed their third child, Prince Louis.

Charlotte corrects her brothers’ behavior

Fans took to social media to wish Charlotte happy birthday with one writing,

”Hahahaha. Cute Kid!
Reminds me of when my daughter had lost her front, top teeth….leaving her with just the 2 canines.’‘

Another royal fan added,

”She looks so much like her Dad, it’s really cute.”

A third fan commented,

”A happy birthday to the little princess.”

A fourth fan added,

”Oh, I adore little Charlotte. She’s just cute as a bug .. and I can see her great gran in her face. Lovely little girl.”

Catherine once called her daughter feisty and has corrected both of her brothers’ behaviors during many royal occasions.

On late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022, she fixed her brother George’s posture on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

She also scolded Louis when the little one misbehaved during the festival’s pageant.
