Princess Charlotte looked fashionable during her first Wimbledon appearance on Sunday.
The young royal, 8, attended the historical tennis event alongside her parents, Prince William and Princess Catherine, and her older brother, Prince George, for the men’s singles final at the British tennis tournament.
Charlotte wore a blue and white floral summer dress, featuring ruffled sleeves and ruching at the waist.
She paired her look with white Mary Jane flats and wore her sleek, long brown hair down with a braid on either side with an adorable blue ribbon.
At one point during the match, Charlotte even paired a pair of peach-framed sunglasses and relaxed with her arms behind her head.
The mini-royal was in good spirits as she cheered on the players, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, and waved to her fans in the crowd.
George, 9, looked dapper in a navy blazer and a green, white, and blue striped tie.
The siblings’ parents, who are no strangers at the annual event, looked equally chic and stylish as they watched the game from the royal box.
Catherine, 41, who is a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, looked stunning in an emerald green Roland Mouret dress. The future queen paired her look with a beige clutch and nude pumps.
The princess styled her long brunette locks in her iconic blowout and a pair of emerald drop earrings.
The Prince of Wales, also 41, wore navy trousers, a gray blazer, and a blue tie.
Royal fans reacted to Charlotte’s first Wimbledon appearance
The couple’s youngest son, Prince Louis, 5, was noticeably absent from the family outing. Fans joked that it is the tradition for the Wales kids to make their Wimbledon debut at age 8.
This is George’s second appearance at the world-famous tournament.
Last year, the future king watched Novak Djokovic take on Nick Kyrgios in the men’s final, before getting a chance to hold Djokovic’s trophy.
George stole the show with his funny face throughout the match. At one point, he even picked his nose before scrunching his face and squinting.
Many fans thought it was a reminiscence of his dad William’s first Wimbledon outing in 1991 when he attended the women’s finals alongside his late mother, Princess Diana.
Fans totally loved Charlotte’s attendance at the sporting event. One fan tweeted,
”In some photos here, Princess Charlotte reminds me of Diana in some of her expressions. I love her sweet smile and cute sunnies.”
Another added,
”What a beautiful family. Was so lovely watching the Royal box especially the children who seem so well behaved.”
A third wrote,
”They are so cute, Princess Charlotte has such a sweet smile and Prince George is always lovely. Also, the Princess of Wales looked exquisite in her green dress. Always elegant.”
