Princess Eugenie shares family photo including her two sons
Princess Eugenie celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary to Jack Brooksbank with a new snap featuring the couple and their two baby boys.
The granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II shared a video montage of her wedding day on her Instagram page.
The adorable post showed never-before-seen clips from the couple’s wedding at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, getting ready for her to walk down the aisle to taking pictures inside the royal residence.
Royals fans got a special surprise at the end of the video: a never-before-seen family photo of Princess Eugenie and Jack featuring their two sons, 2-year-old August and 4-month-old Ernest.
While the princess announced Ernest’s birth earlier this year with a photo of the two siblings, this is the first time, the family of four has posed together as a foursome.
Unlike the glamorous wedding pictures, the family photo is a candid, fun snap that was taken during the family’s beach vacation.
The photo shows both Eugenie and Jack wearing sunglasses, while Ernest is wrapped in a towel and wears a baby hat while in his mommy’s arms.
Eugenie and Jack welcomed Ernest on May 30 but the two waited until June 5 to announce the arrival of their little one.
While announcing the birth of the late Queen’s great-grandson, Eugenie shared his name and first snaps on Instagram with a caption,
“Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs. He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald.”
She added,
“Augie is loving being a big brother already.”

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank named Ernest after the princess’s grandfather
The first photo showed the newborn sleeping and all snuggled up in a blue knit hat. The second showed his big brother, August, gently touching his baby brother’s head.
The newborn royal is currently 13th in the line of succession to the British throne. He is also the first great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II to be born after her death in September 2022.
Ernest is the third grandchild of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
Fergie shared her new grandson’s cute nickname on her podcast. She told her co-host, Sarah Thomson,
“So my grandchildren had the most incredible weekend. I was very lucky, I had everybody in. I had Edo and Beatrice and Jack and Eugenie and August and new Ernest. Well, Ernie,”
Thomson asked, ”Is it Ernie?”
Fergie confirmed, “Yeah, it’s Ernie,”
The Duchess of York also said on the show that Eugenie and Jack named their baby after Sarah’s dad which was very emotional for her. She said,
“When Jack and Eugenie told me, it was so moving that they put my dad in there. It was very kind, I thought, made me cry, of course.”
