The American actress Rachel Bloom and her husband Dan Gregor got stranded during a storm in Bakersfield. On Friday, the actress tweeted by asking if anyone has a place to sleep to her followers on social media.

The soon-to-be-mom wrote on her Twitter:

“We are stranded here or theoretically north of here (every highway going south is closed) and every hotel that’s open is at least a 2 hour drive away and we’re about to just sleep in our car,”

Soon after the tweet asking for help, she updated her followers that they got the place for the evening. One of the couples Kate and Steven from the local area who followed them offered the place in their house.

Later on, the actress and her husband mentioned the kindness of the family who helped them in the situation. The actress, later, went to social media to talk about the experience.

She also did not forget to mention that “kindness is not dead.” In the clip. Kate, who offered her place to the duo, also shared her view saying:

“I am just glad that we were there because it is so scary to have to sleep in your car. Like anybody, whether or not it is a beloved television personality, nobody should have to sleep in their car when it is 30 degrees outside.”

The American actress Bloom announced that she is expecting a child after attending her first-ever Emmy Award on Saturday, September 14. The duo is soon welcoming their baby girl into this world.

While announcing her pregnancy, the actress gushed:

“I’m pregnant! So, that’s what’s next for me. I might as well do it at an Emmy press conference. I was going to post an Instagram, [but] … I’m three months pregnant.”

Furthermore, she also added:

“So, I get to tell my child that she was with me when this happened, which is really f–king cool!”

The duo who tied the knot back in 2015 has a pet dog named Wiley. She also posts some adorable snaps of her pet dog on her Instagram. The soon-to-be-mom is not slowing down in her career despite her pregnancy. The actress revealed that she has some of the projects with reporters at the Emmys.

Furthermore, she also stated:

“I have a tour right now called, ‘What Am I Going to Do With My Life Now. Because the question I get asked is, ‘What are you going to do with your life now?’ Hopefully write more Emmy***-winning songs. But even if don’t win, I’ll love them just the same.”
