American reality TV star of The Bachelorette fame, Rachel Lindsay, 39 has a new boyfriend. She has moved on after her divorce from chiropractor ex-husband, Bryan Abasalo, 45.

Rachel is in a romantic relationship with American country singer, Willie Jones, 30. An insider split the beans to Page six saying:

“They’re dating. She’s happy, but not rushing anything. He’s a really cool guy and everyone is happy for her.”

Rachel’s family and her close friends feel that she is at the peak of her happiness now. They have never seen her so happy ever before.

Earlier, there were speculations of this budding relationship when Rachel was spotted with Willie at the iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball in 2024. TMZ stated that the two had danced to the songs of American singer, T-Pain. Later, the whole night they sat close together and chatted and laughed.

The two were also at the Project Angel Food’s Angel Art benefit in February 2024. They were getting cozy at that time.

Who is Willie Jones?

Willie is a country singer. He hails from Shreveport in Louisiana. His father was a local preacher. Willie studied at the Green Oaks Performing Arts Academy in Shreveport. He was part of his church choir and also performed at school musicals.

Willie took part in the second season of the show The X factor in 2012. The reality TV star was also part of the show Chasing Cameron on Netflix.

Willie released his debut album Right Now in 2021 after signing with the music record company, Sony Music Nashville and The Penthouse.

He also has collaborated with award winning artists such as Beyonce and Job Batiste. In 2023 came his second album Something to dance to. However , he no longer works with Sony music.

Willie was seen in the 2022 documentary, For Love and Country.

Rachel married Bryan Abasalo who had won season 13 of The Bachelorette show. The wedding was on 24th August 2019 in Cancun, Mexico.

However, the two parted ways and divorced on 31st December 2023. It has been a bitter divorce even though no custody battle was to be won.

Bryan has claimed that he is a pauper and has no money to pay. According to Rachel, he never was glamorous to the amount to which he was portrayed in the show.

While on the red carpet of Project Angel Food’s Angel Art benefit, Rachel did speak about her divorce. She said:

“It’s really great to be on the other side of things, and just sort of out and about.”

She was happy with her new freedom post-divorce, but added:

“No matter what I have to pay – because the number is crazy big – I have peace of mind and I can move on from it.”
