Rapper Young Greatness shot dead at his hometown in New Orleans at 34! Killers still at large!

Young Greatness and his death
Young Greatness was killed on 29 October 2018 in his hometown of New Orleans. The CBS affiliate WWL-TV reported that the rapper whose real birth name is Theodore Jones was shot dead on the morning of 29 October Monday at approximately 1.35 am.
The killing took place outside the Elysian Fields Avenue Waffle House in Louisiana as per the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).
Young Greatness was only 34 years of age when he died. He was pronounced dead even before the arrival of the law enforcement people to the scene. The cause of death as per the coroner is excessive bleeding post gunshot injury.
There have been no arrests made so far and the police are hunting for the culprit. They are still accumulating evidence in this matter and have urged the public and eyewitnesses to come forward and help them solve the crime.
They have asked the public who has some information on this matter to call detective Brett Mathes on his cell number 504-658-5300.
The police might also check the CCTV footage around the crime scene to have more details into the exact scenario when he was shot at and killed.
The food chain itself may be covered by CCTV cameras. There were supposedly two people involved in the crime and the police are on the lookout for those two suspects.
Young Greatness and the tributes on his death
Young Greatness was signed with the Quality Control Label who moaned his death and expressed their tribute for him on their Twitter thus:
“Rest in Paradise Young Greatness.”
They put up this tweet the same day that Young Greatness was shot dead. Young Greatness’ fellow rapper Wale also posted a tweet to honor his dead friend.
Young Greatness and his career
Greatness was born on 19 September 1984 and he is said to have remained underrated for a long time. He was born Theodore Jones and Young Greatness was his taken name.
He was a hip-hop artist and is best known for the song track called Moolah which he released in the year 2015.
This track has more than 30 million views on YouTube. It is his best song to date. This song was on the top lists of music charts and peaked at number 85 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The next year in 2016, he had made a remix of this song and this was in collaboration with Lil Wayne and Yo Gotti.
Young Greatness later joined the Quality Control label in the year 2015 and released mixtapes with it which included I Tried To Tell Em and Bloody Summer.
