The retriever of the lost rings gets a reward! Emma Watson’s heartfelt appeal to her fans on Facebook! Click for details!
The Facebook appeal!
English actress Emma Watson has posted a heartfelt urgent appeal on her Facebook to her fans, followers, and the general public.
She wrote:
“Reward for information leading to the return of rings lost Sunday 16th July at Mandarin Oriental Spa, London. On Sunday afternoon I went to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Spa in Hyde Park, London. Before my appointment I removed 3 silver rings from my fingers and put them in the safe inside the locker. When I left, I forgot to take my rings from the safe.”
She continued:
“When I got home I realised the rings were not on my hands and I called the spa, but at this time the spa was closed. Security checked the safe and said there was nothing in it but that the spa would be open again in the morning and they could speak to them then and see if they had them or if anyone had handed them in.”
Explaining the need to have the rings back, Emma Watson wrote:
“As of now they are missing. Were these just any rings I could accept this, but one of the them was a gift from my Mum. She bought it the day after I was born and wore it for 18 years, never taking it off, and then gave it to me for my 18th birthday. I wear this ring everyday, it is my most meaningful and special possession.”
Emma Watson pleaded:
“If anyone saw the rings or accidentally picked them up or knows anything about them, I cannot express how much it would mean if they came back to me – no questions asked. If you have seen them or have any information please email: [email protected]. Thank you, Emma x.”
It is learned that the post had been deleted now.
How were the rings lost?
Emma Watson had visited the Mandarin Oriental Spa at a London Hotel on 16th July 2017. She had removed her 3 rings and kept them safely in a locker at the spa.
After her return, she took her belongings from the safe but forgot to pick up the 3 rings. When she remembered it was already nighttime and the spa was closed.
She still called up and spoke to the security there. He checked the safe and found that the rings that Emma Watson was talking about were not there.
Emma Watson was more concerned about having back the ring that her mother Jacqueline Luesby had given to her on her 18th birthday.
Her mother had purchased the ring when Emma was one day old and had worn it continuously till she gifted it to her daughter.
For Emma, the ring has sentimental value. She has also assured the person who returns it to her that she would ask no questions and also reward them.

In between her film promotions
Emma had disclosed that her ring was an inspiration for a designer on the set of the ‘Beauty and the Beast’. A similar ring was made for Belle.
It is really sad that this ring loss and the associated sentiments come amidst Emma’s promotion of her recent film ‘The Circle’.
The Circle is a powerful tech company and Emma plays Mae who gets a job in this company. The storyline revolves around an agenda that she discovers and which will affect many human lives.
We wish that Emma Watson finds her ‘sentimentally valuable’ ring. The fact that she has deleted her post could mean that either the actress has found her ring, or that she has decided to not pursue the matter or she is trying to get it via some other means!
