Rihanna is finally having a less workload amid her second pregnancy.
The Umbrella singer, 35, made an announcement that she is stepping down as the CEO of her Savage X Fenty lingerie brand after being in the position for five long years.
The pop star told Vogue Business on Thursday,
“It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years,”
She added,
“This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer.”
The beauty mogul who is currently pregnant with her and Asap Rocky‘s second child chose Hillary Super, former CEO of Anthropologie Group as her successor from June 26 onwards.
Super, 51, told the publication,
“I’m thrilled to join the Savage X Fenty family,”
“The brand is a major powerhouse in the lingerie and apparel industry, and its unwavering commitment to celebrating inclusivity and fearlessness is inspiring.”

Rihanna’s net worth skyrocketed after establishing Fenty
Despite the step-down, the Grammy winner will continue to serve a leadership role for the brand as the executive chair which was launched in 2018.
In a press release in May 2018, Riri said of her new brand,
“It was important to me to push the boundaries, but also create a line that women can see themselves in,”
“I want to make people look and feel good, and have fun playing around with different styles.”
Just three years in the market, Forbes reported that the Diamond singer’s lingerie company had reached a $1 billion valuation.
The singer was not only bringing in money with her lingerie brand but also winning the makeup game with her Fenty Beauty brand which she launched in 2017.
The makeup brand was an instant hit and swiftly took over the market with its diverse shades. As per Forbes, the company generated $558 million in its first full year in operation, making the Stay songstress one of the world” wealthiest female musicians.
In 2019, the outlet revealed that Fenty Beauty‘s valuation was more than $3 billion.
While her professional life is reaching new heights, Riri’s personal life is equally beautiful. The What’s My Name hitmaker will soon be welcoming her second baby with rapper Asap Rocky.
