Actor Saint Von Colucci dies after a surgery fail
Actor Saint Von Colucci, who was in his early 20s died after undergoing at least 12 cosmetic surgeries in just a year in an attempt to look like BTS singer Jimin.
The 22-year-old took his last breath early Sunday at a South Korean hospital. His death was the result of complications from his most recent surgery, his reps told.
Colucci moved to the K-pop mecca from Canada in 2019 in hopes of having a successful career in entertainment.
On Saturday, he had surgery to remove jaw implants that he had put in last November.
Despite knowing that the operation was a risky one, Saint went under the knife. As a result, he developed an infection and had to be intubated. Just hours later, the young man lost his life.
His publicist Blake said,
“It’s very tragic and very unfortunate,”
He added that Saint didn’t like his “very square jawline and chin,” as he “thought it was too wide.”
In just a year, the young actor spent $220,000 on a dozen surgeries, including a facelift, a nose job, an eye lift, an eyebrow lift, and a lip reduction to name a few.
Blake explained,
“He was very insecure about his looks,”
He went on to say that Colucci was very unhappy with his face.

Saint despised his Western looks
The young man originally had dark blond hair and blue eyes. He was 6 feet tall and weighed 182 pounds.
Blake claimed,
“It was very hard from him to get a job in South Korea,”
“and he felt very discriminated against [because of] his Western looks.”
Saint filmed an eight-episode Korean drama series named Pretty Lies which natively means Cogimar. In the series, he played Jimin, the 27-year-old singer from the Korean group BTS.
The show was in production from June to December 2022. It will release on a major US streaming service around October.
Blake said,
“He was very, very excited and worked really hard,”
