Soon after announcing their split, Pique started dating much younger Clara Chia Marti.
Just two months after their public breakup, the Grammy winner released the song and music video for Te Felicito with Rauw Alejandro.
In the video, Shakira can be seen looking in the fridge which sparked speculations of how the Colombian star may have found out about her partner’s new love interest.
She was also questioned about the moment when she visited the UK television show This Morning in May 2022.
In the interview which was translated from Spanish to English, the singer reportedly said that she looked in the fridge “to find the truth,” adding, “It is when I go to the fridge and find the head of Rauw Alejandro.”

While Shakira never spoke on that matter, fans kept the theory alive via social media with many jam-related tweets.
However, the Wherever Whenever singer’s interview with the Sunday Times claims that she knows nothing about fans’ theories.
