Jordanna Barrett honored her late daughter with a meaningful tattoo
Shaquil Barrett and her wife Jordanna Barrett lost one of their children in a drowning accident early this month.
Last month, their daughter Arrayah Barrett fell into the family swimming pool around 9:30 a.m. local time at their home in the Beach Park neighborhood in south Tampa.
As a result, she sadly passed away after drowning. She was just 2.
Arrayah was the youngest of four children. The couple shared three other children Shaquil Jr., Braylon, and Aaliyah.

A week after her passing, Jordanna paid tribute to her daughter by inking a tattoo in her honor. She tattooed her daughter’s moniker “Arrayah Sunshine” on her inner wrist alongside a pair of angel wings and a halo.
Mrs. Barrett shared her new tattoo over the weekend on her respective Instagram story writing next to the photo,
“I miss you so much my girl. My heart is so shattered.”

On Thursday, May 4, Jordanna shared an Instagram story opening up about her youngest child’s death.
As well as she showed gratitude towards those who expressed their grief on the loss of their beloved daughter Arrayah Barrett. She wrote,
“Thank you all for all the messages, flowers, thoughts and prayers. Our world will never be the same. Arrayah was the apple of my eye, and my heart will forever be with hers. I love ove you so much my baby. I am so so sorry,”
Jordanna continued,
“Until we see each other again, please watch over your siblings and momma and dada. We love you forever and ever and always. I can’t wait to see that precious smile again, and just hug you so close. I would do absolutely anything. There is no Barrett 6 without you, and we will forever hold your place down here, until we all meet again in heaven. I love you forever and always.”
