American professional football player Sidney Jones was born in Diamond Bar, California on 21 May 1996. He was birth named Sidney Jones IV. He is of African American ethnicity and has an American nationality.

Jones studied at  West Covina High School in West Covina, California where he played football as a wide receiver, running back, cornerback, and free safety. He preferred to join the University of Utah but he attended the University of Washington.

For his impressive skills, Sidney Jones was named first-team All-Pac-12 in his sophomore in 2015. On 3 January 2017, he foregoes his senior season his senior year to enter the NFL Draft.

On 11 May 2017, Sidney Jones signed a four-year contract with the team Eagles worth $6.14 million with $3.34 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $2.60 million. Since then he is playing for the Philadelphia Eagles and till now he hasn’t been traded to any other teams in NFL.
