Venus sends a message to her sister who is pregnant with her baby after her loss in Wimbledon 2017.
After the match, she shared the message in the video made by BBC, she said:
“I miss you, tried my best to do the same things you do, but I think there will be other opportunities. I do.”

Her sister, Serena couldn’t compete in this year’s Wimbledon championship as she is pregnant with her first child. Their mother tennis coach Oracene Price, attended Saturday’s match to support Venus.
On Saturday, Venus was opening to become the eldest woman in the Open era to win a Grand Slam title. Yet, she was defeated by Muguruza in a 7-5, 6-0 victory. Previously, she lost to Serena in the 2015 Wimbledon finals.
After the big win, Muguruza said via ESPN:
“When I was a little girl, I was watching these finals. I was watching Venus. I know it sounds incredible. To be able to play against her and now hold the big trophy, it means a lot.”

Involvement of Venus Williams in a Fatal car accident
In June, Venus grabbed all the headlines after she was involved in a fatal car accident in Florida. During the press conference on July 3, she broke down in tears when she had to talk about the crash.
In the crash, 80-year-old Jerome Barson was hospitalized with serious injuries. Meanwhile, he died two weeks later after the crash. “Completely devastating,” Venus said before getting throttled up and leaving the conference.
Afterward, the police confirmed that the tennis star Venus had “lawfully” entered the intersection at the time of the accident.
