American reality TV personality Evan Bass was featured in ABC’s ‘Bachelor in Paradise, a spin-off of the channel’s TV game shows ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette’.
He got engaged to American singer Carly Wadell in Mexico in the summer of 2016 on the finale of season 3 of this show. Out of three couples who had got engaged on the shows, only Evan Bass and Carly Wadell are together.
The other two couples have called it Splitsville by the end of 2016. They stay in Nashville with Evan Bass’ three sons, Ensley, Liam, and Nathan out of his marriage with Marie Bass.
Evan Bass revealed that one of the ‘The Bachelorette’ season 13 contestants has been trying to message his fiancée Carly Wadell.
Evan Bass tweeted:
“One of the dudes from this bachelorette season slid into Carly’s DM. Needless to say, I’ll be live tweeting with fire this season. #dbag,”
He said that he knew the name of the person but refused to divulge it. Evan Bass further elaborated:
“Over the past few days, he’s been replying to her Insta stories and complimenting her. [He] told her how awesome she is/was on Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise and then asked her for advice.”
Evan Bass added that both he and Carly are not much bothered by these messages. But he requested the sender to stop messaging. He said:
“I don’t think he really meant anything by it but my [and Carly’s] advice to him would be to stop hitting up engaged girls. We are laughing it off and not taking it seriously!”

The relationship of the couple had a rocky start on ‘The Bachelor in Paradise’. They almost broke 5 times. Soon they fell in love. Expressing her feelings about this new blossoming relationship, Carly Wadell said:
“I’ve never had a guy look at me that way before. He gives me butterflies,”
She added:
“I love him, he is my person”
She said that she started connecting with him and had desired to hold his hands. Her liking for him got ignited and it grew during the show.
In the finale of the show, Evan Bass proposes to her and she accepts it. She got a $90000 stunning Neil Lane diamond engagement ring. It weighs 1.5 karats in toto and has a platinum-crafted hand.
After the show, Carly Wadell initiated the shaving of Evan Bass’s creeping goatee. His facial hairs were not liked by most of his fans and viewers who appreciated Evan’s efforts in eradicating them.
The couple is still happy together and finds happiness in each other’s company. They spent quality time together at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. Carly Wadell has also frozen her eggs and plans to use them to have a baby with Evan Bass.
Talking about the OVA boutique fertility clinic where she has kept her frozen eggs, Carly Wadell wrote:
“I’m nervous, but I’m also really excited. I had hormonal problems for years, and five years ago, they told me they didn’t think I could have kids. They didn’t know what was wrong. So getting this opportunity is a huge blessing, because I don’t have to worry with that anymore. I have the best backup plan in the entire world. I’m excited and scared, but mostly excited!”
She is at peace that she could utilize these eggs whenever she and Evans plan to start a family.

Evan Bass is separated from his first wife, Marie Bass. He was a pastor and later became an erectile dysfunction specialist. He has three sons out of his first marriage.
After he got engaged to Carly Wadell on the game show ‘Bachelor in Paradise’, Marie Bass said:
“Evan and Carly seem to be a good pair. But I cannot see Evan Married, I cannot. If he marries her, it will surprise me for sure. I wish nothing but the best for Evan. I want him to find happiness and if Carly is for him, then great. I wish them the best and I hope it all works out.”
She did not like Evan Bass leaving his kids and going to the show. Likewise, she hoped that he would not repeat it with Carly Wadell. She said:

Marie Bass was also upset after reading an article that read that Evan Bass is an amazing dad and packs lunches and helps with the homework of his kids.
She had gotten so angry with this untrue article that she labeled her ex-husband as a ‘deadbeat dad’. She revealed that he did not spend time with his kids as much as he was supposed to.
They have 50/50 custody of their kids which means that he should spend a whole week with the kids every after week.
But he went away for the shootings of The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise neglecting his kids. She said that she had a terrible time and had to do everything herself.
