Park Min Jae is dead

The talented and passionate actor from South Korea, Park Min Jae is no more. He died suddenly at age 32 due to a cardiac arrest on 29th of last month while he was traveling to China. It was a premature and unexpected death that has left his friends, family, colleagues and fans in a state of shock.

The celebrity’s agency, Big Title Entertainment issued a statement on his death. It read:

“The guy who said he would conquer China and go on a month-long trip has gone on a much longer journey. It was so sudden and so shocking…”

The statement continued:

“The family must be feeling unimaginable sorrow… Min-jae, there’s still so much we wanted to say and do together. I was grateful to have been your representative, even if only for a short time, and I’m deeply sorry. I will never forget the name, Actor Park Min-jae!”

Park had no underlying obvious medical condition and was completely normal at the time of his death.

Tributes for the departed soul

Park’s younger brother, Park Jae-hyung expressed:

“My beloved brother has gone to rest. I hope as many people as possible can remember my brother. Please understand that I cannot contact everyone individually.”

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday 4th December 2024 at the Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital Funeral Hall. One of Park’s fans wrote:

“Oh my gosh! I literally finished that series the other day! May he rest in peace!”

Another fan remarked:

“I was just catching up on his show. This is so sad to hear. May he rest in peace.”

And another fan wrote:

“Omg??? The senior??? Oh wow may he rest in peace.”

One fan posted on X:

“Korean actor # ParkMinJae has passed away at the age of 32. The tragic news was announced by his brother via a heartfelt social media post on Monday, December 2. Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and fans during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.”

There is disbelief in South Korea and the world about his death.

Park’s short but remarkable career

Park was a catholic born on 25th June 1992 in South Korea to parents, Park Young-cheol and Jeon Hyeon-ae.

He acted in films and on TV. His list of dramas is long and includes Idol: The Coop, Tomorrow , Mr. Lee, The Fabulous, Little Women, The Law, Look!, Say it’s love, Deborah, Just lift a finger, Numbers: Watchers of the Building Forest, Goryeo Khitan War, Law of circulation, Sn and the like.

Park’s last project was his acting in My Damn Business in 2024. He was capable of injecting great emotions and passion into his role. In Little Women, he did a guest appearance. But it was a memorable role that people still remember.
