The most awaited Date
Landon Clements and Thomas Ravenel have been the people in which love can be seen. Although they’ve denied any alleged romance in the past, the pair meet up for an intimate dinner. And guess what? The dinner date doesn’t go as smoothly as Ravenel probably had hoped for.
When Clements asks T-Rav how his day was, the retired politician. He shares daughter Kensington and son St. Julien with ex Kathryn Dennis. He innocently tells the interior designer that he “took the kids to school.”
But their conversation takes an awkward turn when Clements inadvertently references Ravenel’s custody battle with Dennis. Making matters even more uncomfortable? Dennis has previously suggested that Clements hooked up with Ravenel during their relationship. She told,
“It must be hard for you right now, having them all by yourself. When you’re going through child custody, you have to be able to demonstrate that you can do it.”
Thankfully, their stilted banter is interrupted by their drink orders arriving at the table. Ravenel makes an effort to salvage the date by complimenting Clements’ necklace and telling her that turquoise comes from Turkey.
He exclaims,
“Thus … turquoise!”
Clements replies,
“I love turquoise. That’s my favorite.”
Then, as Ravenel begins to tell the brunette beauty how he is also a fan of turquoise, he spills his glass of red wine.
Clements then asks,
“Are you nervous?”
Ravenel responded by saying,
“It’s rare that someone could make me blush like that,”

Opinions on Landon Clements and Thomas Ravenel’s Date
The Season 4 premiere of Southern Charm has all of Charleston — and even the entire country — abuzz about whether Thomas Ravenel and Landon Clements’ friendship will turn into a romantic relationship. Kathryn C. Dennis, whose On-again, off-again relationship with Thomas has finally come to an end, has something to say on the matter.
Kathryn, who said she still believes that Thomas and Landon weren’t strictly platonic last season, didn’t hold back when she commented on the possibility of these two getting together during a recent interview with People, saying that they are:
“both kind of just so ridiculous that I think that perhaps the kind of deserve each other.”
Kathryn also responded to Landon’s claims that she went to rehab in California too,
“look for her next rich victim. The fact that she said that is so pathetic because she’s grabbing at straws to remain relevant. And to especially target someone that is going through a process that’s not only difficult regarding the rehab … it’s sheer obviousness what her intentions are, and I think she projects those onto me.” Kathryn also said that she believes Landon herself is “trying to land a rich husband” in Charleston.
Landon’s good friend Shep Rose recently told The Daily Dish that he would advise Landon to proceed with caution if she does decide to dive into a relationship with Thomas because of his history with Kathryn.
He said,
“I mean, I would tell her to tread. I mean she’s poking the bear, so to speak, as far as Kathryn’s concerned. It’s complicated and relationships are hard enough without such complications, I would say. Not to mention the two children. It’s a hairy situation.”
One person who’s not ‘shipping Thomas and Landon is Cameran Eubanks, She said,
“I think it’s a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad idea, I don’t get it, I don’t understand it. No. Bad, bad, bad.”
Austen Kroll also said to E! News,
“I didn’t know what the deal was. And this season, when it kind of became here and there, I would hear about her doing this and that, and she would tell me, I just sat back and said, ‘Do your thing.’
Austen even teased that he and Landon could become more than friends this season.
“Landon and I had had a great time together, and we always did, and that line can be blurred, especially as two members of the opposite sex,” he said. “Landon and I definitely gravitated toward each other.”
