Stephanie Bissonnette died at the age of 32 with the Mean Girls community announcing the death news on their Twitter page.
The reality TV show page led the tribute to one of their choreographer, writing,
“Our hearts are broken as the Mean Girls community mourns the loss of Stephanie Bissonnette. Our original Dawn Schweitzer, Stephanie was part of our Broadway company from our first performance to our last.”
The dancer who was Bissonnette was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer, in 2019, according to her obituary in Playbill is no longer with us. The show page continued,
“She filled our theater with her laughter and friendship, inspired us with her fighting spirit and bravery, and graced our stage with the fiercest talent Broadway has ever known. Our thoughts and prayers are with Stephanie’s family, friends, and the entire Mean Girls community during this time. We will miss her profoundly and encourage everyone to do something they love today in Stephanie’s honor.”
The death reason of Stephanie who was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain tumor in 2019 is not known yet. She also had surgery in February 2019 and was recovering after she carried out radiotherapy, chemo, and other procedures.

After being sad by the death news of Stephanie Bissonnette, fans shared the condolence message to the deceased, saying,
“Saddened to hear the loss of Stephanie Bissonnette, who starred in and choreographed Broadway’s Mean Girls. Sending love to her family and friends.”
Another fan also led tribute and wished may the deceased rest in peace, commenting,
“Woke up to the news that Stephanie Bissonnette died. Oh man. I had the privilege of interacting with her once. She was so kind and humble. Mean Girls was there for me when I really needed it and Stephanie was a huge part of it. She fought so hard. F*** cancer. Rest easy.”
