One of the most critical points in his life includes when booze benders saw him sleep with prostitutes, blackout, and end up in intensive care. Adams was drowned more in alcoholism and paid sex and that was all in vain. In his autobiography, Sober wrote,

More explaining his terrible days, when he struggled to get sober, he added,
“The team sit around the bar, drinking beers, talking about what had happened. Slowly people go to bed, but not me – 3am, 4am, I’m up and drinking. I’m an alkie so that’s normal. Nothing out of order, but I drink to pass out. Eventually it’s what I do.“

Tony Adams, the former England footballer is married to Poppy Teacher, the great-great-great granddaughter of whisky firm founder William Teacher. His wife of over 18 years (2004-) is the heir to the Scotch Whiskey company called Teachers.
Poppy and Tony were married in 2004 at All Saints’ Church in Tudeley, United Kingdom. The couple together shared three children, sons, Atticus Adams, Hector Adams, and daughter Iris Adams.
Adams also shares two kids with his ex-wife of 5 years, Jane Shea for five years (1992-1997). The former couple has a son Oliver Adams and daughter Amber Adams before finalizing their divorce from Shea in 1997.
