Suicidal Death of famed fashion designer Kate Spade, 55 mourned worldwide on social media!

Kate Spade and her suicide
Kate Spade was found hanging in her home in Park Avenue, New York on Tuesday 5 June 2018. It is a case of suspected suicide. She was discovered by her housekeeper at around 10.20 am.
She used a scarf tied to the bedroom doorknob to kill herself. Authorities have not provided more information but did state that she had left a note at the scene.
The content of the note has not yet been made public but it was addressed to her daughter Frances. Andy was apparently not in the house when she took her life. He was in their Upper East Side apartment at that time.

People all around the world have reacted to the sudden and untimely death of this famous and respected businesswoman. Social media has been flooded with messages of condolence and words expressing shock at her death.
Her previous publicist Rob Shuter said:
“She was kind. She was decent and above all, she taught everyone around her to be nice. We are heartbroken.”

Kate and her business
Kate Spade launched her New York-based design company called Kate Spade handbags in the early 1990s. Her husband Andy was also her partner in it. Her quirky designs became a rage and the couple then expanded their business.
Kate and Andy moved on to design clothes, jewelry, shoes, stationery, eyewear, baby items, bedding, gifts, and tabletop. In 2016, they started a new venture called Frances Valentine. The brand is named after their only child Frances Spade, 13.
