She is the only child of aristocrat Carlos Falcó, 12th Marquess of Castel-Moncayo, GE with Spanish-Filipino socialite Isabel Preysler. Tamara has eight other half-siblings from her parents’ marriages.

She holds citizenship in Spain and her ethnicity is Hispanic.

According to her academic credentials, Tamara Falcó majored in communication at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois. She then studied fashion at Istituto Marangoni in Milan. She also has a master’s degree in visual merchandise from the University of Navarra.
