Theresa Caputo‘s son Larry Caputo Jr. took a milestone step with his girlfriend Leah Munch.

The Long Island Medium star, 56, announced that her son, whom she shared with ex-husband, Larry Caputo, tied the knot with his decade-long girlfriend.

She shared a photo of herself along with the newlywed couple on Instagram with a caption,

“And this HAPPENED, We are over the moon excited for Larry and Leah on their wedding.”

The wedding ceremony took place last weekend (June 10) at Villa Pizzo near Lake Como, Italy, the day also marked Therese’s 56th birthday.

For the occasion, Theresa opted for a silver floor-length sequin gown by Galvan London which she paired with Mach & Mach heels.

Theresa gushed about her son’s wedding to PEOPLE,

“It was so emotional. He’s my son. And I think because of what I do, I see that a lot of people don’t have family, and Larry and Leah, they wanted it to be all about family. To watch it happen and unfold was just absolutely incredible. Wow”

She acknowledged that her son gave a “beautiful speech” honoring her birthday, stating,

“Because I was like, ‘This is your wedding. This is your weekend, forget that it’s my birthday.’ And I actually forget that it was my birthday until everyone started texting me!”

The television presenter also revealed that his son and now daughter-in-law surprise her with a special birthday brunch celebration.

“They had this amazing cake made. “It was all the things that I love. One tier was Louis Vuitton, another Gucci and Giorgio Armani. And then they had a picture of myself on it.”

Further, the TLC star then went on to praise Leah noting she already considers her one of her own. She said,

“I feel like she’s been my daughter for all these years. We’ve always been so close and have a great relationship. And her mom and her brothers, we’re just literally one big family.”

In December 2021, when Theresa Caputo shared a rare photo of herself with her son Larry, some fans claimed he looks “so different”. The two posed with all-smile for the camera as the reality tv star kept her arm around Larry.
