For an actor, appearing on TV comedy and talk shows is an important part of the promotional process. However, these are some celebrities who were banned from TV shows due to some reasons.
1)Howie Mandel is banned from Piers Morgan’s live show, Why?
While they were co-judged on America’s Got Talent, Piers Morgan and Howie Mandel did not get along. In the show, Mandel put high energy into pranking Morgan. But, Morgan wasn’t not so interested in those pranks. So when Morgan returned to his own talk show, he banned Mandel in retaliation.
2)Vivica A. Fox is lifetime banned from Jimmy Kimmel Live!
In 2005, Vivica appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote her new Lifetime show. But the actor walked out of the show in mid-interview, not to return.
The star later explained, “I was really surprised because I used to go on his show all the time. And there was just one time that I went on the show and he dissed my good friend Star Jones,”
3)Joan River got banned from Carson’s Show!
Joan Rivers was a regular guest host on Carson’s show, and Carson loved her to pieces. But in 1986, River gets her own leat night show, The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers. Likewise, it aired opposite Carson, which devastated him. So, he banded her from his talk show. Later Jimmy officially lifted the ban and inviting the comedy legend back on the show for the first time in decades.
4)The Daily Show With Jon Stewart banned Hugh Grant!
The English actor appeared on the show to promote his movie. When he appeared on the show, he acted very high maintenance toward the influential host, and outright rude to the show’s staff. Stewart had no patience for Grant’s behavior and banned him with no apology. Later, Hugh tweeted saying, “inner crab got the better of [him]” and calling his behavior “unforgivable.”

5)Harmony Korine got banned from Late Show With David Letterman!
When the filmmaker appeared on the Late Show With David Letterman. He got banned from the show after Letterman allegedly caught him stealing from Meryl Streep’s purse.
Later letterman claimed that,
“I went upstairs to greet Meryl Streep and welcome her to the show, And I knock on the door…and she was not in there. And I looked around, and she was not in there, and I found Harmony going through her purse.”
6)Sandra Bernhard got banned from Late Show on CBS!
The comedian Sandra Bernhard used to appear all the time on Late Night with David Letterman(1982-1993). But when Letterman moved to the Late Show on CBS, he stopped inviting Bernhard to be on. Letterman thinks she was trashing him among their mutual show biz circle of friends as per Bernhard. But she never appeared on his CBS show.
7)Vince Vaughn got banned from The Ellen DeGeneres Show!
After the releasing the trailer of The Dilemma(2011). Vaugh makes an insensitive joke about electric cars. He says electric cars “gay,” adding: “not homosexual, but my-parents-are-chaperoning-the-dance gay.” Meanwhile, the joke offended Ellen so she banned Vaughn from appearing on her daytime talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
8)Jay Leno is banned from Conan O’Brien’s TBS show!
After The Tonight Show was stolen by David Letterman and Leno. Conan O’Brien started a new show named Conan by CBS. O’Brien had one rule: Leno will never be a guest. He said,
“No, there are certain things I will not do, regardless of the price.”
