Real Housewives of New York City, Tinsley Mortimer appeared on the show Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen @ Home on 7 May 2020.
And, the reality TV star discussed her engagement ring and the upcoming wedding.

It appears that before their November last year engagement, they had been talking a lot about the engagement ring.

Tinsley Mortimer and her engagement ring

Reality TV star of the show Real Housewives of New York City, Tinsley Mortimer was on the show Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen @ Home recently.

She told host Andy Cohen that she had one specification which she wanted in her engagement ring. What exactly did she mean?

She got engaged to Scott Kluth last November and revealed that she did not help Scott choose the ring. The engagement ring is a oval-shaped stunning diamond.

Praising the ring, Tinsley stated:

“He did such a great job.”

Her desire was to have an oval rock and she expressed it to Scott. Additionally, the socialite continued:

“I did say I wanted an oval, I did. So I said oval, and he got me this beautiful ring, and he did well.”

Joking about their rocky relationship, she said:

“After all our breakups back and forth, I deserve it.”

Tinsley and her wedding plans

Tinsley and Scott are to be married soon. So what are their wedding plans? She revealed on the show that there has been no wedding date fixed as yet.

Furthermore, she also stated that though the date is not yet determined, the affair would be an intimate one with only close guests.

Tinsley said:

“[Scott] wanted it to be small and that’s right up my alley too,”

But she promptly added that she was not going to compromise on her dress. Talking about it, she said:

“I mean, I’m definitely going to have a big, white dress because you know me, I have to have like a big white dress,”

The relationship between Tinsley and Scott

The couple met on 11 February 2017. Her RHONY castmate Carole Radziwill introduced Tinsley to Scott Kluth. Scott is based in Chicago and is the CEO of Coupon Cabin.

But it was a long-distance relationship and the couple had to travel to and fro between New York and Chicago. Additionally, the relationship also had its highs and lows, and many times they had broken up and again reconciled.

In October 2018, they had separated. But again somewhere along the way they reconciled and got together. And now comes their engagement news.

Earlier, at the age of 18, Tinsley met Robert Livingston “Topper” Mortimer who was the son of John Jay Mortimer. They were at Lawrenceville School together and fell in love with each other.

Thereafter, they eloped and got married. However, their parents were against their alliance and forced the two to annul their marriage. Later, they remarried in Richmond in Virginia on 4 May 2002.

But they again divorced after some years. On 23 July 2010, she discussed her divorce on the show Dr. Phil show. She was there with her mother Dale.
