Tom Fletcher Dumped Giovanna When They First Met and then Spent Years Trying to Win Her Back!

Tom Fletcher dumped Giovanna just two days after their first date
Tom Fletcher is opening up about his initial dating days with now-wife Giovanna Fletcher and why they almost didn’t happen.
The actor/ dancer revealed that when the two first met, things moved fast but came to an end temporarily.
The ballroom dancer confessed that he called it quits with the presenter just two days after meeting her which ultimately led him to spend years groveling for winning her back.
In a recent interview, the 37-year-old singer said:
“I asked her out on the day we met.
“She said yes but I dumped her two days later. Then I spent years grovelling, trying to get her to go back out with me – which thankfully worked.
Fletcher added:
“We’ve been together for 19 years this year.”
Tom surely matured since his teenage days and now he is famous for being a tad bit of an incurable romantic. He wrote a beautiful song for his wife on Valentine’s Day named All About You.
It went on to become a big hit for McFly.
Now, happily married, the couple shares three sons together: Buzz, 8, Buddy, 6, and Max, 4.
Talking about their wedding anniversary, Tom told the magazine:
”It can be difficult to escape. I remember when we first got married, we said we’d do something really big for our 10th anniversary and go away somewhere,”
“And then when it got here, we were like: ‘Shall we just go for dinner?’”

Tom’s relationship with his family and bandmates
Tom and Giovanna, however, went for a mini vacation away without the kids during the weekend.
The couple took to Instagram to share romantic snaps as their children stayed back home with their grandparents.
A source revealed the place where the loved-up couple stayed for their outing. They said:
“[Tom and Giovanna stayed at] The Gallivant with the couple opting to stay in the Luxury Garden room which boasts a super king bed, private decking and a roll top bath in the bedroom,”
They added:
“The gorgeous room has prices starting from £619 per night for a weekday in March with the hotel also having a number of classes including yoga, wine tasting and pastry skills.”
Apart from the relationship he shares with his family, Tom also shares a great bond with his bandmates- Dougie, 34, Danny Jones 36, and Harry Judd, 36.
Despite many ups and downs, the band is still going strong.
The group briefly split to embark on their solo careers but decide to come together as a band again and released their new music in 2019. This year is a big one for the boys as they will be performing at Glastonbury.
Tom shared his excitement by saying:
“I look back at pictures and just think, ‘That’s mad,’”
“It’s on the bucket list of any band, it’s just legendary.”
