When did Iman and Tom first meet?
According to Vellani, she was shooting for Ms. Marvel nearby whereas Tom was shooting for No Way Home.
While the young actress was in the hair and makeup, Tom paid a quick visit.
Iman said:
“He was like, ‘What’s your show even about?’ I was like, ‘What’s Spider-Man about?’ He fully shows me a photo of him with Tobey Maguire!”
The photo of Toby was a major secret that the filmmakers had to keep despite fans and media expecting to see the previous two Spidermen in the movie.
Iman continued:
“I get we’re both in Marvel, but I didn’t need to know that before it happened,”
Ms. Marvel’s official premiere began earlier this week. The show centers around Iman’s character Kamala Khan, a teenager who starts experiencing and developing unexpected superpowers.
While Tom was busy sharing spoilers about his movie, Iman has stayed tight-lipped on her series.
The young actor, however, has given her reason for wanting to be a part of the series.
She said:
“I really only wanted to meet people at Marvel and pursue more tech-related stuff.”
