Torey Lovullo- Professional career

Torey was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the fifth round of the 1987 Major League Baseball draft. On 10th September 1988, he made his Major League debut with the Tigers.

He reached the Major Leagues for a brief trial in September 1988. His long minor league playing career 11,433 games with 1,193 hits, and a batting average of .267.

Coaching career

Torey began his off-field career in the Cleveland organization in 2001 as a minor league infield coach. He became the manager of the 2002 Columbus RedStixx of the Class A South Atlantic League.

When it was at the close of the 2010 season Farrell he was considered the managerial candidate. He was hired as the bench coach on 26th October 2012.

He has worked as a manager in the Cleveland Indians’ and Red Sox’ farm systems (2002–10).
