The 17-year-old high school student at Glen Allen High School in Virginia met with a boating accident in the James River near Glen Allen, Virginia.

Julia Budzinski, who played varsity soccer and varsity volleyball at the school, was following in her father’s footsteps but not anymore.
The late vice president of the Glen Allen National Honor Society was bidden the final goodbye with the Virgil by Glen Allen High School. Principal Reginald Davenport grieved over the unfortunate incident and even consoled their family in his Tweet saying,
“It’s with a heavy heart to announce that the GAHS family is dealing with the loss of life of a student — Julia Budzinski. We will come together to celebrate the life of Julia Budzinski.”
How did Toronto Blue Jays respond to the death news of the daughter of Mark Budzinski?
The Toronto Blue Jays have had its first base coach, Mark Budzinski who abruptly left Saturday’s (July 2, 2022) game.
Mark Budzinski with a piece of tragic news had walked out along with team manager Charlie Montoyo during the third inning against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Eventually, the statement was released, which read,
“As many of you are aware, Mark Budzinski left early in the game tonight. He is dealing with a personal matter and Charlie and our coaches are with him. Out of consideration for Bud, we ask that you please respect his privacy at this time.”
The next day news about the tragic and untimely death of the oldest daughter of Mark Budzinski in a tubing accident on the James River in Richmond, Virginia broke out.

“The Budzinskis have been part of our Blue Jays family over the last four seasons. This devastating loss is felt by our entire organization and we grieve alongside Bud and his family.”

What about the security procedure necessary for boating?
Despite applying the necessary security procedures, Julia Budzinski was killed. She fell from her tube directly into the river while there were efforts to save her.
According to the Department of Wildlife Resources, there was a rescue boat en route to get her and her friends. Unfortunately, it hit a wave, which caused the boat to be pushed on top of her, the propeller striking her.
Julia Budzinski was then immediately taken to the hospital, and thus pronounced dead. Mark Budzinski is not okay after he lost his firstborn at 17.
