In a candid conversation with fellow contestants, she explained that she requires a deep emotional bond with someone before feeling any sexual attraction, stating,
“I believe I’m demisexual- I need a deep emotional bond with someone. I need actual depth. I’m a slow burner and have been celibate for over three years,”
The musician also expressed her discomfort with traditional dating, noting that she rarely uses dating apps and has never gone on an actual date, as the thought of dating often makes her feel “physically sick.”

What is demisexuality?
Demisexuality is a sexual orientation characterized by the experience of sexual attraction only after forming a deep emotional bond with another person, rather than feeling attracted right away.
This means they don’t usually find someone appealing based on looks or other physical traits.
The term originated in 2006 on an asexuality forum and encompasses various sexual orientations, including heterosexual and homosexual identities.
While they are part of the Asexual Spectrum, demisexuals experience partial attraction compared to asexual individuals, who feel no sexual attraction at all.
Identifying as demisexual helps individuals connect with others who share similar experiences and provides a sense of community.
