Wallasey Shooting: Young Woman Died by Gunshot in Busy Pub on Christmas Eve

Wallasey Shooting Alert! A Young woman dies of Gunshot

A young woman tragically dies of injuries of gunshot wounds after shooting at the Lighthouse Inn in Wallasey, Merseyside on Christmas Eve.

Detective Superintendent Sue Coombs and Assistant Chief Constable Jenny Sims said in a press conference,

“Tragically the victim, a 26-year-old woman had suffered a serious gunshot injury to her head. She was taken to Arrow Park hospital but sadly passed away shortly afterwards. It’s very early stages of the investigation but we do not believe that the victim, in this case, has been targeted.”

The young woman who couldn’t survive though she was rushed to the hospital was partying with her sister and close friends at the time. They revealed,

“She was out enjoying Christmas with her sister and friends at what should have been a peaceful time. What her family are now going through is incomprehensible.”

Similarly, four other men were also shot in the pub’s car park in the “shocking and truly devastating” attack. They are currently undergoing treatment with the 28-year-old fighting for their life. Three other guts in their early 30s are recovering while there is no risk to their life.

Any hints on the Wallasey Shooting’s Suspect

Wallasey Shooting investigation is ongoing as five people were shot at a “busy” pub in Wallasey, Merseyside on Christmas Eve.

Policemen are investigating the case along with the appeal for witnesses to come forward to help them acknowledge the crime scene. Meanwhile, Detective Superintendent Dave McCaughrean confirmed,

“This investigation is in the very early stages and we understand that this is a truly shocking and devastating incident that has happened just before Christmas Day in a busy venue full of young people.

We have a number of officers at Wallasey Village who are carrying out extensive enquiries to understand exactly what has taken place and take immediate action.”

The gunman from a dark-colored vehicle ( suspected to be an A-Class Mercedes) shot people at the front of the pub. Many forensics officers and Police staff are spending their Christmas Day trying to track down the killer.
