Malala Yousafzai is officially married to Asser Malik. The Nobel Peace prize winner confirmed her marriage to Asser Malik through Instagram on 9th November 2021.
Their nikah was a small ceremony held at her home in the UK. For the wedding, Malala wore a beautiful pink outfit for the traditional ceremony.
Likewise, she captioned the nikah photos,
“Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead.”
Similarly, her handsome beau who is the general manager of high performance at the Pakistan Cricket Board wore a three-piece tuxedo and a pink tie that matched Yousafzai’s outfit. Back in July, Malala said that she did not think she would ever marry,
“I still don’t understand why people have to marry. If you want to have a person in your life, why do you have to sign marriage papers? Why can’t it just be a partnership?”
