American actor, Patrick Schwarzenegger, 31 proposed to his long-term girlfriend, Abby Champion in December 2023. However, there were no wedding plans after that. But now, they have made a decision to walk down the aisle together in the summer of 2025.

On the Drew Barrymore show’s episode on 25th March 2025, Patrick revealed that ultimately they will wed this summer.

Talking about the delay in wedding plans, the handsome actor said that he was filming for the new season of the series The White Lotus overseas in South East Asia. Hence, they had to push the wedding date forward:

“Finally a year and a half ago, we got engaged, and it was our moment. It was this great thing, and about a few days later, I booked White Lotus.”

Patrick portrays the character of Saxon Ratcliff in this series.

He added:

“I was like, ‘Abby, I know we’re in this high of engagement, and we’re gonna get married this year, but we’re gonna have to push it. I got White Lotus and I’m gonna go film for the next seven months in Thailand,”

What was Abby Champion’s reaction to the wedding postponement?

Patrick’s fiancee was supportive of his career and was not heartbroken with the delay in their wedding plans. She remained happy and ecstatic because she loved the series. She was happy that its new season will be filmed and that her fiance was in it.

Patrick has been dating Abby since 2015. And this summer along with their wedding would be the 10th anniversary of their relationship.

Recently, the couple was part of the Skims’ wedding collection campaign. They posed for this campaign together. The collection was not the formal wedding attire and tux, but they were in intimate lacey wears, cosets, and night wears. The famous photographer, Carin Backoff did the photoshoot. In one pic, Patrick was wearing nothing except holding a bouquet of flowers and was with his supermodel fiancee. He loved the campaign and said:

“Being part of Skims’ Wedding Shop with my fiancée Abby was such a fun experience and made me more excited for our big day,”

The engagement of the couple

The couple’s engagement was one and half years back in December 2023. Patrick has uploaded several photos of that day on his instagram for his fans after the Christmas.

Patrick proposed to Abby on a beach that was especially decorated for the day. It had a big heart flower arrangement of red roses. There were rose petals on the sand. It was wintertime and thd two were in cozy woollen wears. There was also a special cake made for the day. It had a picture of them together on it.

Abby is 28 years old and an American model. She was born and grew up in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Her sister is also a model and she has two more brothers.

An agent of Next Management discovered Abby when she was with her sister in The Bahamas for a beauty pageant.
