Whitney Port was supposed to give birth to her second child but she tragically had a miscarriage. The Hills: New Beginnings star went to Chicago in late June 2021 to assist her sister Jade to give birth to her baby boy, Tate.
She and Jade were supposed to give birth at the same time but Whitney suffered a miscarriage after eight weeks of pregnancy.
Port has had hard luck with pregnancy as it’s her second miscarriage in the last two years. On the occasion of her nephew’s birth, she revealed her tragic miscarriage,
“Crazy to think I would have had a newborn within this week too. … Sad to really think about it, but I just wanted to say it just to get it out of my head and send everyone who is dealing with some kind of fertility issue a virtual hug.”
More on her miscarriage
Last July 2019, Whitney suffered her first miscarriage. She and her husband Tim Rosenman wanted to welcome their second child and bring a sibling to their son Sonny Sanford.
But her dream was shattered by her miscarriage. Whitney has been sharing her personal experience of miscarriage on her With Whit podcast. At the time she revealed,
“My identity has been shaken in regards to who as I am as a mom and human being. I’m currently in the process of learning to accept that my feelings are valid no matter what they are. Whether or not people feel the same way as me or not. They are my personal emotions that are the result from my own journey.”
