Bronny James and his new relationship

Bronny James, 19 is going strong on his professional front. The son of the famous American professional basketball player, LeBron James, 39 is on the same team as his dad, the Los Angeles Lakers.

Along with his great-going career, Bronny’s personal life is also going well. He has found a new girlfriend in Parker Whitfield, 20. Parker is the daughter of the actor couple, Dondré T. Whitfield and Salli Richardson.

Parker went public with this romance with an Instagram post. She uploaded a photo of herself with Bronny next to a Mickey Mouse. This photo was taken when they together visited Disneyland recently.

Parker posted this on 3 October 2024 which is celebrated as National Boyfriend Day in the USA. She put the caption:

“BF day,”
“i love you!”

Bronny reshared the same post on his Instagram account. The only difference was that he put an emoji of a crown on the head of Parker. On it, he wrote:

“I love you babyyyyy.”

About Parker Whitfield

Parker attended the same high school as Bronny. But the rumors of their budding relationship started doing rounds only in August 2024. This was after Parker was photographed sitting on the courtside with Bronny at the 2024 Paris Olympics during the men’s basketball match.

Mother Salli was happy for her daughter but also sad on her leaving the house. She added:

About Bronny James

Bronny who was at Sierra Canyon School started to play basketball as a child. His performance at the game drew people’s attention. He played at school and later, played college basketball for one year for the USC Trojans.

In June 2024, he was drafted into the NBA with Los Angeles Lakers. This is the same team for which his father, LeBron plays as well currently.

This is the first active father-son duo on one basketball team. Both father and son are very proud and happy of having made this history together. LeBron, when queried, said on 30 September 2024 to Lakers media:

Bronny cannot call his dad as dad on the field. About the nickname, Bronny said:
