Sean Evans has his own show on YouTube with the name ‘Hot Ones’ on First We Feast with 10 million subscribers. His name is nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host last night.
Though he has not appeared on television yet his popularity took him to the nomination list of Emmy Awards.

The YouTube host of Hot Ones is on the nomination list for the Daytime Emmy Awards. This year Emmy released two categories of awards last night and the rest came today at noon. Other nominees for the Outstanding Talk Show Host are Drew Barrymore (The Drew Barrymore Show); Sean Evans (Hot Ones); Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager (Today Show with Hoda and Jenna); Kelly Clarkson (The Kelly Clarkson Show); and Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest (LIVE with Kelly and Ryan).
The American interviewer, host, web show producer, and also the first person behind First We Feast. This is the popular culinary YouTube channel where he presents the Hot One’s show.
The show is known for hosting celebrities while they feast on spicy chicken wings while talk about many topics.
Who Is Sean Evans?
The YouTube host first flew to fame in the year 2015 after he posted his first video. In the video, he posted where he showed himself eating food spiced with Carolina Reaper pepper.
The pepper holds the world record for the hottest pepper as per the Guinness World Record. The host says he started eating spicy food when he was a child which built a spice tolerance in him over the years. On the current date, he interviews celebrities on his show while they eat spicy hot chicken wings.
He was born on April 26, 1986, in Illinois where he grew up with his younger brother, Gavin. Evans went to Crystal Lake Central High School and got his degree from the University of Illinois. After his graduation, he worked low-paying jobs to fulfill his needs.
At the time, he also pursued his career on social media however, he struggled for a while in the beginning. Now, in his show, he has interviewed some of the big names like Selena Gomez, Gordon Ramsey, Jeffrey Dean, and more.
On the show, celebrities get ten chicken wings spiced with hot sauce. After every chicken wing, the host asks a set of questions to his guest. In every new season of the show, they have new and different kinds of sauce.
Meanwhile, if the guest successfully finishes all 10 chicken wings, they get the opportunity to promote their upcoming projects. With time, his show has gained a lot of popularity with billion of views.
