Yung Miami has confirmed that she and fellow rapper Diddy have broken up.
She also revealed that although they are no longer a couple, they remain good friends.

Rapper Sean Combs, better known as Diddy and Yung Miami have broken up.

The pair told several times before that they were dating but not exclusive, Yung confirmed in her latest interview that they have now broken up even though they still remains good friends:

“We’re still friends! We’re still good friends! But we’re single. That’s not my man.”

Miami, 29, and Diddy, 53, “had their own situation” and hung out a lot and supported each other but were never exclusive:

“We were f—ing with each other hard. We were together every day at one point. He supported me, I supported him. I’ll let the internet call it whatever they want to call it.”

The couple confirmed their dating rumors in June 2022

The rumors about their affair first started in 2021 and later in June 2022, the rumors were confirmed by Diddy.

Miami had invited Diddy as a guest on her podcast and asked him to define their relationship status:

“We date. We’re dating. We go on dates. We’re friends. We go to exotic locations. We have great times.”

In September, Miami also talked about their relationship in an interview with XXL Mag.

“We are dating. We single, but we’re dating. People don’t know what dating means. He’s single, I’m single, but we’re dating”.

She also revealed that they were not exclusive at the time:

“He sees other people outside of me, and I see people outside of him. I’m young. I’m dating. I’m, you know, having fun. I’m doing me. He’s doing the same thing. I can’t speak for exactly what he doing or who he seeing, but we single and we dating.”

Diddy came to Yung Miami’s defense when the internet called her his “side chick”

In December 2022, Diddy shocked the world by announcing the surprise birth of his seventh child, Love Combs, with a woman named Dana Tran.

After this news went viral, fans on the internet started calling Yung Miami a side chick of Diddy’s.

After a lot of talk by netizens, Miami herself took to social media to clarify that she was no one’s side chick.

She added:

“Diddy won’t even look half of y’all bi**hes way! Majority off y’all praying upon a falling star b**h plssssssss!!!!!!!”

The “Last Night” rapper came to her defense and also took on social media to clear the rumors.

“Never has been, never will be. She’s very important and special to me, and I don’t play about my Shawty Wop. I don’t discuss things on the internet and I will not start today.”

Miami also told Black Enterprise:

“There are people who think that I’m like a side chick and he can just do whatever he want, and I’m just over here head over heels. No, it goes both ways. Ain’t nothing one-sided over here.”

The couple later spent New Year’s Eve together on a yacht letting the haters know.
