English actress, Emilia Clarke, 38 was spotted in London on an outing with some friends including DJ Sebastian ‘Bassi’ Fox. They were walking quite close to each other and that set the rumor wheel running. Are the two in a romantic relationship?

Emilia Clarke and DJ Sebastian ‘Bassi’ Fox

British actress, Emilia Clarke, 38 was spotted coming out of the Brat restaurant in London in the Shoreditch neighborhood. She was with some friends and DJ Sebastian ‘Bassi’ Fox was also one of them. Emilia and Sebastian were walking close to each other. That led to people thinking that probably the two are romancing each other.

This was on 24 November 2024 and TMZ reported with photos on this outing. The gorgeous actress was wearing a plush black-colored coat with a scarf. And Sebastian was also in black colored turtleneck sweater with a coat over it and cuffed trousers below.

Sebastian had a pop band Mt Wolf through which he gained popularity. It held several events in Glastonbury and other places. It was on the Blog Sound in the years 2014 and 2016. But later in 2020, Sebastian left this band and went solo.

Realizing that rumors have started on her and Sebastian, Emilia thought to set the record straight. She uploaded photos on her Instagram and captioned them:

“Well that’s reassuring.. birthdays a month later never tasted so good,”

In the first photo, it was her sitting with a friend and on the table was a cute cake. And in the second photo, she gave her fans a close up glimpse of the cake that read ‘Still alive, still hot’.

So the occasion was her belated birthday celebrations. She turned 38 this year. Her fans congratulated her and expressed their immense love for the gorgeous lady. They were happy to see her smiling.

Emilia and her aneurysm problem

Emilia is a happy girl but she has some health issues that are serious. She had problem of brain aneurysms; one occurred in the year 2011 at her age of 22 and the second one in 2013. She had subarachnoid hemorrhage and these two aneurysms have left quite a large part of her brain to go dead. But it is remarkable that she is still able to live her life normally until now, she said.

Neurosurgeons had operated on her for these abnormal blood vessels in her brain. During the first time, she had excruciating headache, vomiting and loss of consciousness. This was due to the raised intracranial tension. Emilia told BBC’s Sophie Raworth:

“The amount of my brain that is no longer usable – it’s remarkable that I am able to speak, sometimes articulately, and live my life completely normally with absolutely no repercussions.”
“I am in the really, really, really small minority of people that can survive that.”

Further, the actress elaborated:

“Because as soon as any part of your brain doesn’t get blood for a second, it’s gone. And so the blood finds a different route to get around but then whatever bit it’s missing is therefore gone.”

She can even remember her lines despite all the brain loss. She was happy that she was acting in Game of Thrones at the time she suffered the brain problem. It kept her spirit and gave her some purpose in life. Otherwise, without it, she would have lost all hope of life. She said:

“You go on the set and you play a badass character, and you walk through fire, and you speak to hundreds of people, and you’re being asked to be – to work as hard as you possibly can.”
“And that became the thing that just saved me from considering my own mortality.”
